I believe it will be more profitable for US Law-makers to concentrate on fixing the many issues that have clogged her economy instead of decimating energy on politics of hegemony, antagonism, frustration and revenge. Whilst we focus on total eradication of terrorism, we must not lose sight of the yearnings of the American people and all others who look unto America as a vanguard; otherwise you give the terrorists cause to rejoice that their objective of distraction and inflicting pain on innocent people has prevailed.
Sometimes, we should play this politics with a sense of piety, posterity and the fear of God, who is the ultimate decider of the next event.

The Strauss-Kahn tale
If truly, Mr. Strauss-Kahn’s extramarital affairs have long been considered an open secret, then justice should not be far fetched; otherwise it will amount to a delay. It’s amusing that the dust of Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi of Italy sexual assault is yet to settle before this obloquy from a continental brother.
However, the wisest choice for everyone at this point is to allow justice to prevail. As President Sarkozy rightly put it…the presumption of innocence must be maintained and the courts must be allowed to do their work. Unfortunately, if it turns out to be a true case of rape, then Mr. Strauss-Kahn should be ready for worst castigation from his political opponents and countrymen.
It is better we presume it all politics and not rape. Otherwise, we should begin to cover our faces because if it turns out a case of seduction, then parents who close their eyes to the crazy nude appearance of their daughters in the name of freedom are guilty of the same offense – of neglect. Far from generalization, quite a handful of public figures have been guilty of the same predatory behavior towards women and aggressive sexual pursuit of them, from street girls to female journalists as well as their aids in work places, which this ingenuous man is being accused of.
On one hand, this ugly development calls for caution and self-control on the part of roue, especially, those who hold public trust. On another hand, married women are by this challenged to do more of their marital responsibilities rather leaving their husbands vulnerable to shameless and primitive ladies who think they are in vogue with seductive Adamic clothing.

Wind of Change
The unprecedented political upheavals and revolutions that have been raving the global political landscape are indications of a new world order. Interestingly, those who are unyielding to the clarion call for change shall be taken unawares by an opaque swaging sledge hammer. And even if they escape the wrath, it shall await them on arrival....
We are apparently, heading to something too simple and easy to understand and resolve with relative ease. Unfortunately, everyone seems to be waiting for some people somewhere to do the needful without thinking of what is expected of everyone. The people who are suppose to take charge are rather engrossed in the spree of global-cum region brawl simmering, and they are equally duplicitous in thinking first their interests, before rescuing the ugly situation. Perhaps, we are all not sapient enough to think that what goes around will NOT come round, directly or otherwise.
Indeed the time has come for all and sundry to have one voice over, regional, continental and global issues, especially, when we all know that the ripple effects of these uprising and chaos are multifarious and indiscriminate in their effects. Today's political leaders have chosen to live with a culture that can be aptly be described as "Let's see how far it would spread" and then take a last minute step to either intervene, glean the benefits or do the little we can....
We had better lend our voices before harm, instead of crying over spilled blood, which we had every opportunity to safe.
