The California Wild Fire

What can be more pathetic than returning home to find all your belongings burnt to ashes? It's even more excruciating to discover that you suddenly have no shelter under your head anymore. Needless to talk about family men and women, who by that singular fire are shattered by the big blow this fire has dealt on them. And of course the hopelessness it brings, especially with the challenge posed by home management, as well as how to balance up in the face a meltdown globally.

I must give big, big kudos to A. Schwarzenegger - the California Governor who reacted swiftly with some relief measures, tax rebate or cuts, waivers and all sorts. What a great succor my enviable movie actor of old? But in all these, what exactly is behind this beast of a fire so wild to win over? Five thousand fires since the beginning of the year as admitted my Governor on CNN today; it's indeed an alarming catastrophe of a global order that should be treated with all sense of seriousness and urgency. Yet it doesn't seem to be receiving that kind of attention.

With all humility, I join the silent voices groaning in the face of this invaluable lost, to appeal for a lasting solution. Would it not be better if the enough funds which Mr. Schwarzenegger affirmed was handy to address the situation is put into the provision of electronic fire detective gadgets that can signal the necessary authorities to arrest an impending danger? And if our technology has not advanced to that level, what are our Technologists and Scientists doing, after the irreparable lost recorded in the past, in the same California - USA and in Australia?

I truly feel for the victims and I think an urgent and a more drastic action need to be taken to ameliorate the agonies that often come with the incidence of wild fire. In fact, the earlier our experts go back to the research field to safeguard our ecosystem, the better. In an emergency situation like the one in California, I think nature balances things according to how much we empathize with victims in the far flung zones of our globe. Indeed, this particular case is peculiar, thus it demands true brotherly love and solace.
